Before we start working on your vacancies, we will listen to everything you need us to find in your new recruit, including their experience, background, skills, traits, talents, personal specification, and anything else. 

How long will it take?

Our consultations usually take between just 15-30 minutes depending on how many questions you have and how much detail you are able to provide about your requirements. We can meet in person, have a video call, or talk over the telephone – whatever is convenient for you! 

Do I need a job description?

No. Our consultants are skilled in writing job descriptions so if you don’t have one or you don’t have the time to put something together in writing, we will make sure we find out all the relevant information we need to write one for you.

We have invested in some of the best rated job boards in the UK that have proven to be successful in attracting skilled IT candidates. The job boards we use have also invested in strong marketing strategies (such as television, billboards, radio etc.) to ensure they remain first choice for job-seekers.

Do we just rely on adverts?

No. Although we buy advertising slots and make use of these to attract candidates, we also proactively utilise the job boards’ CV search function.

Making interview arrangements can be time-consuming, especially when you have a busy diary. That’s why, once you have selected the candidates you wish to see, we will take control of making all the arrangements for you.

We will send you and the candidate confirmation of the appointment as well as a calendar invitation. All you have to do is attend. Easy!

Salary Negotiations:

Negotiating salaries can be awkward for some, and it can sometimes take time to agree a suitable package. Therefore, we will handle all stages of the job offer until the package is agreed by both parties and your new employee is ready to join you.

Reference Checks:

Requesting and chasing references can be time-consuming, so unless you have your own specific references checking procedures, we will provide these to you. 

Work Eligibility:

Our UK work eligibility laws in the UK are stringent. Therefore, we will take steps to obtain work eligibility documents for you before your new employee starts. (Please note that it is also advisable that you carry out your own checks as we will only take copies of documents.) 

Sometimes recruitment isn’t always as straight-forward as it seems, so as experts in our field, we are committed to guiding you through every step of the process to ensure you get the very best from your recruitment projects.

We can provide salary bench-marking, interview techniques, insight into the IT recruitment market, and full assistance with your current, ongoing, and future recruitment strategies.

Whatever support you need, we are there for you!

Don’t pay a penny until your new employee starts! Here’s how it works:

  • Once we have discussed your requirements and provided a fair, competitive quote, we will send you “Terms of Business” outlining our simple, transparent fees, policies and expectations. All you need to do is read, sign, and return the document so we can get to work on your vacancy. (If you have any questions about our terms beforehand, we will be happy to answer them.) 
  • There are NO upfront costs or hidden fees!
  • After you have selected your new employee and a start date has been agreed, we will not ask for payment until the candidate has started their employment with you. An invoice for the agreed amount will sent on or after the candidate’s first day of employment.
What happens if they leave?

Firstly, this is extremely rare!  Leo Recruitment has an incredibly successful track record in placing the right candidates first time around. However, we understand that circumstances out of our control may occur and the candidate may leaves or not perform to the standard we originally expected.
 
Under these circumstances, we offer a rebate (the amount will depend on how long the candidate has been employed), or you can choose to request a free replacement.
